“My totem animal is a Zombie.” Believe it or not, I really did have someone say this to me not long ago as we were discussing spirit and totem animals. And why not? he asked me when I tried POLITELY to tell him, well, no, it doesn’t work that way. He went on to say, they eat, they reproduce, they exist (well, on a fantasy level at least). He had a point, but I was determined to prove him wrong. It took a while, but I found a fundamental difference (besides the obvious fact of THEY DON’T REALLY EXIST!).
